President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called on all Maldivians to work together with a unified vision to become a developed nation by 2040. He made the statement while addressing residents of N. Holhudhoo during his ongoing tour of South Miladhunmadulu Atoll.

Emphasizing national unity and stability, President Muizzu noted that political vengeance has no place in today’s Maldives. He assured the public that over the past year and a half, no politically motivated action has been taken against any individual, underscoring his administration’s commitment to fairness, dignity, and respect for all citizens.

The President also addressed the country’s economic challenges, reaffirming his administration's policy of not increasing public debt or relying on inflationary financing. He said this approach ensures national pride, sovereignty, and long-term development through self-reliance.

Beyond physical infrastructure, President Muizzu highlighted the importance of nurturing positive mindsets, behaviours, and social relationships as a foundation for national progress.

He concluded by thanking the public for their continued support and expressed confidence that the results of the government’s efforts would become increasingly visible in the near future.
