PNC Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Falaah has declared an income of MVR 5.1 million over the past year, according to his financial statements submitted to Parliament.
The documents show that Falaah earned MVR 990,000 as salary, MVR 900,000 in business profits, and MVR 3.2 million from rental income. He also received a loan of MVR 15.7 million from the Bank of Maldives this year, of which MVR 496,904 has been repaid.
Falaah’s statement lists shares in three companies, six bank accounts, ownership of an Airblade motorcycle, three plots of land in R. Innamaadhoo, and one plot in Malé City.
Parliament’s amended Rules of Procedure require all members to submit their annual financial statements by August 31 each year.
