President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Shafeeg Mahmood and Ahmed Magsoom as members of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).
The appointments were made in accordance with Article 190(b) of the Constitution and Section 5(a) of the Human Rights Commission Act (Act No. 6/2006).
At a ceremony held this morning at the President’s Office, both appointees took their oath of office before Supreme Court Justice Uz Mohamed Saleem. Following the oath-taking, President Muizzu presented them with their official letters of appointment.
