The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Raa atoll Hulhudhuffaaru island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
R. Hulhudhuffaaru island was placed under monitoring as a person tested positive to Covid-19. As per the information received, he had traveled to R. Ungoofaaru island earlier this month.
With the monitoring status, HPA has restricted travel to and from the island. Hulhudhuffaaru island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation.
In addition to Hulhudhuffaaru, K. Huraa island, F. Nilandhoo island, R. Ungoofaaru island and Dh. Kudahuvadhoo island is also under monitoring status.
