MTCC has signed with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) towards implementing Ha. Hoarafushi Road Development Project.
During a special ceremony held today, the contract was signed by COO Shahid Hussain Moosa signed on behalf of MTCC, and on behalf of the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Ms. Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed signed the contract.
The value of the signed project is MVR 71.90 million, and the project is to be completed within 470 days.
Scope of works for the project include; construction of 11 new asphalt roads with total length of 5303m; 25,909sqm of sub-base preparation, 25,909sqm of ABC works; 11,113.80sqm of footpath preparation, design and construction of a stormwater management system, installation of road markings, speed breakers and streetlight.
