Home Minister Imran Abdullah asserts that discipline is the secret to success.

He was speaking during the closing ceremony of the Rakka program, which was attended by pupils from three schools in the linked communities of Laamu Atoll.

According to Minister Imran, every successful individual must possess the trait of discipline. Discipline is the most crucial attribute a person should possess to succeed in his or her job, regardless of the industry, said the Minister.

“You must exercise discipline at all times. He is awake all day long till he goes to bed at night. His work is organized,” said the Minister.

In accordance with the ideal, noble discipline, the minister said, everything should be done correctly. That is the secret to success, and successful individuals are those who possess it, said the Minister.

"That discipline is ingrained and cemented in us all. Therefore, we must keep up with it, and prior to influencing others, all we need to do is begin acting morally for ourselves," he said.

According to Minister, the next step in being successful is to ensure that the information and skills one acquires are the best available in the sector in question. He advised us to put what we had learned into practice after learning it. If not, the minister said, it would fail. The Minister said that every child and every person should be the one who benefits others the most.

From three schools in Laamu Atoll, 130 pupils completed the Rakka program, a training course for traffic monitors. The program was a joint initiative by the Police services, the Ministry of Education, and Laamu atoll schools.
