The State Minister of the Environment Ministry, Hassan Mughnee has claimed that ex-president Abdulla Yameen failed because of his brutality and looting.
“Yameen lost the presidency and PPM lost the parliament because of Yameen’s brutality and looting during his presidency,” said Mughnee in a tweet today.
Mughnee also stated that Yameen would not have become the president without the backing of Qasim Ibrahim and his Jumhooree Party (Republican Party).
"Without the support of Gasim and JP, he wouldn’t have got the presidency or the PPM," Mughnee added.
Mughnee claimed that without Qasim and JP’s backing, in addition to not getting the presidency, Yameen would be in PA which did not even have 3000 members.
