Member of Parliament for Addu Meedhoo constituency and MDP women’s wing’s president, Rozaina Adam has claimed that there is a faction of the opposition party PPM within MDP.
While Rozaina has stated this, other MDP members too have made accusations that certain MDP members are working in tandem with PPM.
Rozaina stated that it cannot be hidden anymore that the PPM faction within MDP is working with PPM in the parliament.
She said that the people who watched yesterday’s parliament sitting will know who was using PPM MPs to propose amendments opposing the government in the parliament.
It is not known who Rozaina was referring to. Yesterday’s parliament sitting was mainly about proposing the state budget and voting on the amendment to the tax bill by the Committee of the Whole House.
