The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, His Excellency Péter Szijjártó will make an official visit to the Maldives on 9 November 2022. He will be visiting the Maldives at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid.
During this visit, Minister Szijjártó will pay a courtesy call to the President of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. Minister Szijjártó will also hold official talks with his counterpart Abdulla Shahid, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and sign a number of important agreements between Maldives and Hungary.
This visit will mark a Hungarian Foreign Minister's first official visit to the Maldives.
