Former Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Reeko Moosa Manik has stated that the President will move forward without paying heed to criticism from politicians.

Speaking on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's presidency, Moosa Manik said today that the final year of President Solih's five-year term has commenced as the result of his patient work. Moosa added that the President is enacting MDP's policies.

Moosa further stated that the biggest secret of the President's success is developing the whole country without neglecting any island. In addition to that, Moosa noted the work done to overcome the COVID crisis.

"President Solih's presidency moves forward even with the trials of COVID, without paying heed to the criticism from politicians inside and out," said Reeko Moosa.

While the final year of President Solih's term has begun, work is being carried out to provide all islands of the nation with a clean water supply and sewerage systems, and connecting all the islands with a highspeed ferry system.

In addition to this, infrastructure, healthcare, social, sports and housing development projects without neglecting any island, Thila-Male' or Greater Male' Connectivity Bridge project, and housing projects in Male' are notable.
