Tourism Minister Dr. Mausoom assured that by the end of November 2020, at least 18 Airlines will connect the Maldives to the world.
In a tweet, Minister Mausoom has mentioned that so far 12, international airlines are scheduling their flights to the Maldives. He assured that by the end of November 2020, at least 18 Airlines will connect the Maldives to the world.
The current 12 airlines connecting the Maldives to the rest of the world include Aeroflot, Air India, British Airways, Edelweiss, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Indigo, Qatar Airways, Spicejet, Srilankan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and as well as the Maldives National airline; Maldivian.
Furthermore, many more airlines are also set to schedule flights to the Maldives. These include Nordwind Airlines, Azur Air, GoAir, China Southern Airlines, Flydubai, Gulf Air, Lufthansa, and Austrian Airlines.
Meanwhile, many airlines are increasing the number of flights scheduled to the Maldives for the increase in demand. From which, Russian airlines, Aeroflot and UAE airline, Emirates, has already announced increasing its weekly flights to the Maldives.
