In South Asia region, Maldives is seen as a champion in overcoming economic challenges, MP Saud Hussain said.
MP for Villingili constituency, Saud Hussain made tha statement while speaking at the Parliament today. MP Saud Hussain said that the Maldives overcame the economic challenge thanks to the wisdom, ability and hard work of President Solih. Maldives has won the South Asian championship in overcoming economic challenges, he said.
Saud described this as a huge achievement for the government. However, he accused the opposition trying to hide the victory by spreading various rumours and stories.
Speaking further, Saud highlighted that the government of President Solih has protected the rights of the people in accordance with democracy. The state is well known today as the champion of democracy, he said.
