MDP's former chairperson and former Deputy Speaker of Parliament "Reeko" Moosa Manik has stated that there is no place for those who are conspiring to overthrow the government within the work to end divisions within MDP.
Moosa, who had re-joined the party after 11 years away from the party, has declared that he will work to lessen the conflicts between the two factions within the party.
For this purpose, Moosa had stated that he will meet the party president Mohamed Nasheed and have talks on the matter.
Regarding this work, Moosa said that the work to unite the party is not allowing MDP members who work with the opposition party in the Parliament to impede the works of the government.
And that it is not assenting to the work done by some people to overthrow the government.
