Dhiggaru MP Ikram Hassan has stated that those who believe the truth will agree to give President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih a second term.
Ikram expressed his support for President Solih at a time when competitiveness in the MDP presidential primaries have gotten heated.
Ikram said that every Maldivian citizen who believes the truth will accept the things done by President Solih for the nation. And that they will agree to give the President another term.
The competitiveness within MDP for the primaries have increased because in addition to President Solih, former president and current Speaker of Parliament and party president Mohamed Nasheed has announced his candidacy too. Even now supporters of both are campaigning for their respective candidates.
In relation to this, the two factions within the divided MDP continue to exchange verbal blows.
