2023 is not the year for President Solih, says Parliament member for Maafashu constituency, Mohamed Saeed.
Ever since President Solih has decided to run for a second term in office, the opposition has been criticizing his policies and saying he will not be elected for a second term.
Similarly, sharing a picturea of Election Commission members meeting with MNDF and a picture of members of Presidential Commission on Deaths and Disappearances, MP Saeed said that we are witnessing President Solih's regime struggling for survival, and use of military to intimidate elections. Adding that the the year 2023, the year for the next presidential election to be held, will not be the year for President Solih.
Saeed's remarks come as the Presidential Commission on Deaths and Disappearances report on the disappearance of former journalist Ahmed Rilwan has made serious allegations against former President Yameen.
