Maradhoo MP Ibrahim Shareef (Addu Shareef) has stated that he supports the re-election of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih because of the work the President did to overcome COVID.
Shareef said this regarding MDP's leader President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's decision to contest the upcoming MDP primary.
Shareef said President Solih brought the country to the shore of safety during the pandemic by courageously facing great challenges. He noted that President Solih has managed the government with the work he did with wisdom and intelligence.
While the MDP primary is scheduled to be held next month, former President Nasheed and President Solih have announced their intention to contest the primary. Both have now begun their campaigns.
