HEOC announces involvement of 8 high risk people within the 38 positive cases from G.Dh Hoandehdhoo.
During a news conference held last night, spokesperson from HEOC, Dr Nazla mentioned that they have been taking random sampling from the island to ensure if there are more positive cases. She also added that from yesterday's 11 test samples, they have only received one result so far and it was negative.
Dr Nazla also mentioned that from the 38 people positive from G.Dh Hoandehdhoo island involves 8 high risk people and from these 2 were already moved to G.A Villingili Covid management facility for further treatment.
There are 204 people in direct contact with the positive cases in Hoandehdhoo island. And this is the first island to have a high number of positive cases next to Male’ city. Initially Hoandehdhoo reported only 4 positive cases from home quarantine. HEOC reports showed the increase in the number of cases in the island connecting to the initial positive cases.
