Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has stated that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will make all the development dreams of the people of Maldives a reality.
Speaking at the ceremony held in GDh. Dhaandhoo in celebration of the completion of the land reclamation project on the island last night, Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid said that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will fulfill all the development dreams of the people and that this is guaranteed.
In his speech, Shahid brought up the fact that the opposition said that the Maldives would go bankrupt with the economic slowdown during the pandemic, noting that the President assured them that this would not happen. Shahid pointed out that it did not indeed happen just as the President had said.
"No development project had come to a halt nor did we go bankrupt. God-willing, the President will fulfill all the dreams of development that the people of Maldives hope for. That is the strength of our presidency," said Shahid.
