President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has submitted his candidacy form for the MDP presidential primary.
President Solih's campaign manager, Kinbidhoo MP Mohamed Nashiz has stated that President Solih has submitted his form to contest the MDP presidential primary. He said he submitted the form with the support of more than 20,000 members.
While President Solih has submitted his candidacy form to contest the primary, so has former President Mohamed Nasheed. However, it is not clear how many signatures President Nasheed had.
