Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that this government will always look very closely at the needs of the people and will give priority to fulfilling those needs in the way the people want it.

The Vice President said this while speaking at the function held at the Social Center last night to mark the three-year anniversary of the Road Development Corporation (RDC).

In his speech, the Vice President noted that RDC, government companies and some private companies were working on development projects in the country in line with the government's policies and thanked them for that.

He also said that a nation can only develop if everyone works together and urged everyone to work together.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President said that RDC treats its employees very well. He also noted that RDC has facilitated women to work in a wide range of fields and the company is also involved in social work.

The ceremony included the presentation of a symbolic gift to the Blind Association and the launch of the Cooperative Education Program (Binaavehi). In addition, awards were presented to employees in various fields. The Vice President presented the Umar Zahir Award to RDC employees. And RDC presented a plaque to the Vice President.

RDC was established by a decree of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on 9th June 2019, in line with the policies of this government, which considers the construction and maintenance of quality roads in all residential areas of the country as a basic necessity for the citizens.
