The Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) announced that a man hospitalized in Dhaalu atoll hospital has passed away while under medical treatment.
HEOC has stated that a staff Kandinma Maldives resort was taken to Dhaalu atoll hospital on Friday night due to deteriorated health. As per HEOC, he was positive for COVID-19 while he passed away.
The 60-year-old man passed away at 09:45 pm Friday.
HEOC records show 38 deaths due to complications of Covid-19, this includes 32 Maldivians and 06 Foreigners.
