Faih Nizam, who was wanted in connection with an assault with a sharp object, has turned himself in.
Police have stated that Faih appeared at the police station last night. After he turned himself in, he has been taken into police custody.
Ibrahim Faih Nizam, 25, S. Maradhoo-Feydhoo, was wanted by the Serious and Organized Crime Department of the Maldivian Police Service in relation to a case involving inter-gang violence using sharp objects.
Police had already arrested five people on charges of hiding Faih. However, the court has released two of them.
The Police said that Faih's case is under investigation.
