The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that the Ramadan Ihya Forums will start tonight.
The Ministry has stated that the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali, and Sheikh Hassan Latheef Moosa will be the ones to speak in the first program of the Ihya Forum tonight. The theme of the program, which is going to be held in the hall of the Islamic Centre, is “Ramadan for a good change”.
The Ministry also stated that the first Ihya program in the atolls will be held in Addu City. The Ihya program in Addu City will be held in Addu High School hall on Friday night. Al Ustaz Mohamed Anil and Dr. Ali Zahir will speak there on the topic of "From the life of the Prophet PBUH".
A total of 17 Ihya programs are scheduled to be held this year. Nine programs will be conducted in Male' City and eight in the atolls.
Ihya programs in Male' city, just like in other years, will be held every Sunday and Thursday at 9:30 pm in the Islamic Centre hall. In the atolls, while the time is the same as Male', the days the forums will be held are Friday and Saturday.
