The Gender Ministry has made an announcement that they are seeking a third party to create a 90 minute feature film for them.

The Gender Ministry said in the announcement that the film is part of the Ministry's "Geveshi Gulhun" (Domestic Unity) campaign, a nationwide campaign against domestic violence launched by the Ministry on July 15, 2020.

The Ministry has stated that the story and script will be written by the third party, based on the main messages the Ministry wants to convey through the film.

Interested parties can learn more about the project on the 29th of this month. Estimates are to be submitted on the 4th of next month at 10:00 am to the Gender Ministry. The bid is open to locals and foreign companies registered in Maldives that do this kind of work.

Gender Ministry said the film, which is aimed at people over the age of 18, shows the peace, happiness and progress a family can achieve through the full and equal participation of both partners in a couple.
