Jumhooree Party (JP) has opened the opportunity to nominate candidates for the posts of constituency presidents.

JP has decided to elect presidents for the 87 administrative constituencies of the Parliament. While JP has started strengthening its internal structure, the party has approved its participation in the upcoming presidential election in the party's council meeting held on the 14th of this month.

JP has issued an announcement asking interested members to fill up the application form for the constituency elections before 3:00 pm on April 20 and send it to the party's WhatsApp number, 7478414. According to the announcement, interested candidates can also submit their application forms and accompanying materials to M. Kunooz.

JP has formed a special committee to oversee the election of constituency presidents. The members of this committee, chaired by JP leader Qasim Ibrahim's special envoy Ilham Ahmed, are JP secretary general Ali Arif, leader's special advisors Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, Abdulla Nawaz and Azleen Ahmed, leader's advisors Abdulla Ahmed and Hassan Mughnee, party vice presidents Iqbal Adam and Ahmed Saud, party youth league president Abdulla Yameen Rasheed, and ethics committee chair Hussain Shahudhy.

JP has also opened its presidential primary.
