MDP leader President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visits K. Gulhi to campaign for MDP's candidate in the Guraidhoo constituency by-election set to be held next Saturday.
When President Solih arrived in Gulhi, which is part of the Guraidhoo constituency, to campaign for MDP candidate Ibrahim Shaz late afternoon today, a large number of people from the island came to welcome the President.
In addition to MDP candidate Ibrahim Shaz, PPM candidate Hussain Riza and MNP candidate Ali Arif are contesting the by-election.
PPM and MNP are also campaigning for the by-election. As this is the seat that MDP has not won so far, MDP has been campaigning hard for this seat.
