This year's GCE O Level and SSC examinations will start tomorrow.
The Ministry of Education has stated that 6,698 students are sitting for the O-Level examinations and 6,107 students are sitting for the SSC examinations this year. The examinations will be conducted at 244 centers in the country.
While O Level exams will be held at Hithadhoo Nooraanee School and Maradhoo School in Addu City this year, this will be the first time O Level exams will be held in these two schools.
The examination papers have already been sent to the centres, according to the Ministry.
The Education Ministry said employees from other departments of the Ministry are also involved in assisting the Department of Public Examination in conducting the examinations.
