The government has introduced 14 bills for the 2023 second session of the Parliament.

The Attorney General's Office said the government has sent the bills to the Speaker of Parliament in accordance with Article 82(r) of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament.

The 2023 second term of the Parliament began on the 18th of this month.

Bills proposed for the second session of Parliament;

1 - Hajj and Umrah Bill
2 - Foreign Investment Bill
3 - Business Registration Act Amendment Bill
4 - The Financial Securities Act Amendment Bill
5 - Drugs Act Amendment Bill
6 - Prohibition of Gang Crimes Act Amendment Bill
7 - Prohibition of Intimidation and Possession of Dangerous Weapons and Sharp Objects Act Amendment Bill
8 - Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Act Amendment Bill
9 - The Customs Act Amendment Bill
10 - The Penal Code Amendment Bill
11 - Criminal Procedure Act Amendment Bill
12 - Unemployment Insurance Bill
13 - Employment Act Amendment Bill
14 - Zakat Bill
