The man who escaped from the custody of the Daandhoo island of Gaafu Alif atoll Police Station has been found inside a house.
He was arrested in connection with a drug case in Dandu police station last night.
He fled the police station at 12:57 am. The escapee was identified as Hassan Sobir (49).
"Ras online" was informed that he escaped inside a harbor in the town, in the boat building area. He was on the run and was taken into custody early this afternoon.
Police are investigating the incident.
