A man is wanted in connection with a case of assault and intimidation.
The Maldives police service (MPS's) Serious and Organized Crime Department is investigating a case involving Ibrahim Sameen, 34, of Maduvvari island of Raa atoll.
Police said he was wanted in connection with a group of men who entered an apartment in the city on May 2, threatened a resident with a sharp object, assaulted him with a dangerous weapon and damaged property in the apartment.
Police said there is a court order for his arrest in connection with the case.
