Mr. Ahmed Naseem’s appointment as Minister of Health has been approved to give consent by the Maldives parliament.
Parliament Government Oversight Committee approved to give consent to Ahmed Naseem as the Minister of Health, with 09 votes unanimously during the recent committee meeting.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Ahmed Naseem as the Minister of Health on the 22nd of October. Prior to his new appointment, Ahmed Naseem had been serving as a Minister of the President's Office.
Ahmed Naseem joined the Government in 1966 and has served in several key positions, including as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. He had also previously held the portfolio of Minister of Foreign Affairs from March 21, 2011, to February 07, 2012.
