The Minister of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment, Mr. Ahmed Mahloof states that the Youth Ministry has established 347 projects since the current government administration assumed office.
In regards to the President's statement in youth and sports development, Minister Mahloof said that under the current president's administration 345 million Rufiyaa worth, 347 projects have been established.
During the speech to address the nation in commemoration of the Maldives’ 53rd Republic Day, the President of the Maldives stated that the government's main policy to develop sports skills in youth is to expand sporting facilities in the Maldives that are congruent with international sporting events. President also stated that the government has spearheaded unprecedented efforts to widen new facilities and opportunities for our sportspeople.
In addition, Minister Mahloof also stated that the ministry has advised singing the National Anthem before starting the National team practices as an effort to strengthen and nurture the love for the nation.
While the Ministry of Youth has already established 347 projects, the President has stated that the government has been able to continue work this year on 154 of the 372 projects initiated since assuming office.
