Parliament Member for Kaashidhoo constituency, Abdullah Jabir has decided to join the ruling MDP.
Speaking to the media, Jabir said his signing ceremony will be held tomorrow at 11:00 am. He also said that special activities will be held at the event.
According to reports, the ceremony will be attended by the President and some MDP members.
Jabir has previously served as a member of DRP, JP and MDP. Hence he is joining the MDP for the second time.
Prior to the decision announcement, Jabir was invited by the Chairman of MDP to join the party.
As the Presidential Elections are moving in closer, along with MDP, several other political parties are also recruiting new members. So far, the number of people signing in with MDP has increased as well.
