Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to Design and Build Swimming Areas at Sh. Feevah, Sh. Feydhoo and Sh. Foakaidhoo.
During a special held today, the contract was signed by COO Shahid Hussain Moosa on behalf of MTCC and Ms. Fathimath Shana Farooq, DG signed on behalf of Ministry.
The Scope of the project includes; building a (100mx25m) 2,500sqm swimming area, constructing a 97m low crest breakwater & a 50m groynes at Sh. Feevah, and building a (54mx30m) 1,620sqm swimming area, constructing a 62m low crest breakwater & a 50m groynes at Sh. Feydhoo.
The project also includes building a (70mx30m)2,100sqm swimming area, constructing a 101.56m low crest breakwater & a 40m groynes at Sh. Foakaidhoo.
The value of the project is MVR 16.61 million, and according to the MoU, the project will be completed within 210 days.
