The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has confirmed that Adh. Dhigurah Harbor Development project is well underway.
According to MTCC, the installation of concrete blocks required for quay wall construction is ongoing, with 50% completion.
Scope of work of Dhigurah Harbor Development Project include, dredging operations of 64,416 cbm, channel dredging operations of 6,770 cbm, construction of a 294m quay wall, a 287m breakwater, and a 98m revetment. The project also includes installation of 2,324sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp, a jetty, an apron, installation of harbor lights.
The value of the project is MVR 50.02 million.
