It is not enough to have a manifesto alone, said the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih today.

Speaking at a Presidential election campaign event at held today at Sh. Feydhoo island, President Solih criticized the opposition, and stated that it is not enough to have a manifesto alone.

To get to know about the people and their needs, we have to go to the people and listening to them, a manifesto is just not enough, said the President. In addition, the President said that he does not see anyone campaigning for the people except the MDP.

“There is no vote for just a manifesto. People will not accept a campaign coming from a living room," the President said.

The President said that after he came to power, everything had to be restarted from the most basic works because the previous governments had neglected the villages.

The President said that he would modernize the roads in Feydhoo and start ATM services in the island in the next term. He will also build a modern handball and volleyball court in the island and protect the landslide area, he said.

The President said he had no doubt that the people of Feydhoo would vote for the MDP in the upcoming elections.
