November 24th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 52 additional cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 45 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 07 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,810 cases. This includes 1,097 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
As per HPA, 1,851 samples were tested within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 45 people have been recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 11,660.
According to HPA, there are 95 patients admitted in hospitals.
So far, Maldives has recorded 46 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
