The President can solve the housing problem in the country, said Ahmed Amir, MP for Kudahuvadhoo constituency.
Ameer was speaking while debating an emergency motion in parliament alleging that flats and land given by the previous government were being confiscated.
Amir said the housing issue should be solved with good intentions. However, he noted that some parties are politicizing these issues.
Highlighting that the government of President Solih has confiscated the flats of some of the recipients, Amir also noted that those who are talking about the housing flats given by the previous government should remember how things were done when they were in power.
Amir said that the people believe that President Dr. Muizzu can solve the housing problem.
"All the people will agree that today's President will be the most capable person to solve the housing problem in the Maldives today," Amir said.
