Hassan Mughuni, who was appointed to the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) on Thursday, has been dismissed from his position.
Mughnee was appointed to the PCB by President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu.
However, Mughnee's name was not included in the list of board members announced by the PCB yesterday.
The PCB consists of seven members, including the President and Vice-President.
The President's Office has not yet announced the reason for Mughnee's dismissal.
Mughnee was previously the Managing Director of Stelco and the State Minister of Environment in the last government. However, Mughnee was dismissed for criticizing former President Ibrahim Mohamed Saleh.
