December 11th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 18 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 16 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 02 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,326 cases, including 631 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 265،469 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,358 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 19 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 12,640.
According to HPA, there are 66 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 48 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
