The Parliament has approved three nominees put forth by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu for the ambassadorial positions in Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and China.

Mohamed Thaaha was appointed as the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, tasked with representing Maldives' interests in the kingdom. Shiuneen Rasheed was appointed as the Ambassador to Bangladesh, while Dr. Fazeel Najeeb, has been appointed as Maldives' Ambassador to China.

Of the three, Dr. Fazeel served as the former Governor and State Minister of Foreign Affairs, while Shiuneen held the position of Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The three Ambassadors were approved by a unanimous vote of all the members present today.
