Maldives' Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, is set to undertake an official visit to India from May 8 to May 10, 2024, marking a significant milestone in diplomatic relations between the two nations.

During the visit, Minister Zameer will engage in bilateral discussions with India's Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, aimed at deepening and expanding the longstanding partnership between the Maldives and India. The discussions are expected to cover a wide range of issues of mutual interest, spanning areas such as trade, security, tourism, and regional cooperation.

This visit holds particular significance as it marks Foreign Minister Zameer's inaugural official trip to India since assuming office.
