Former Transportation Minister, Adhil Saleem questions about the Covid sample transportation and somehow whether it is benefitting the government.
As of now, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) collects the Covid test samples from the people who are quarantined and brings them to Male’ to test those samples before releasing the results. Due to the current long process, most people have raised complaints about having to stay quarantined for more days than required.
In this regard, Adhil Saleem raises his concerns in a tweet. In his tweet, he has stated that HPA is storing the PCR test machines, which were provided by WHO and partner countries. Adhil Saleem accused HPA of keeping the PCR test machines in storage, rather than giving it to islands.
Further in his tweet, Adhil Saleem questioned whether the transportation of Covid test samples is giving a benefit to the government rather than providing the machines to islands, and with this, he also called the government to provide these machines to islands.
