Today, President His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed embarked on a sacred pilgrimage to Madinah to perform the Holy Umrah.
Their journey was graciously facilitated by the esteemed hospitality of His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The President and First Lady was warmly welcomed upon their arrival at the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport by His Royal Highness, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the esteemed Governor of the Madinah Region.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of Islamic Affairs; Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Centre; Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff, the President's Office; Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs; Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office; Abdulla Nasir.
