Minister Ali Ihusan, during a meeting at the Home Ministry on Sunday, stated that a nationwide march would accompany the telethon.
In addition to the telethon, the government will host special events to raise funds for the UN relief agency. This initiative comes as the death toll in Gaza due to the conflict with Israel has surpassed 36,000.
Furthermore, the Maldives has decided to ban entry to individuals holding Israeli passports, underscoring its stance on the ongoing conflict.
