On Tuesday night, Raheem suggested that the bombing might have been a dramatized scheme orchestrated by Yameen. His remarks have provoked a strong response from Yameen and his party, the People’s National Party (PNF), who have sharply criticized Raheem’s claims.
In a party meeting, President Yameen addressed Raheem's comments, asserting, “If the Finifenma launch boat blast is questioned as a drama, I think the script was written by Abdul Raheem himself.”
Yameen denounced Raheem’s skepticism as baseless and suggested that it was part of a fabricated narrative.
