Minister of Language, Culture, and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim has lauded President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu for spearheading a transformative movement aimed at reshaping the nation’s values and identity.

Speaking at the National Day celebrations held at the Utheemu Bodu Thakurufaanu Memorial Center, Minister Naseer highlighted President Muizzu’s role in revitalizing the country’s ethos and heritage.

Minister Naseer drew parallels between President Muizzu's reform efforts and the historical impact of Mohammed Thakur, whose efforts ushered in a new era for the Maldives. He praised President Muizzu for initiating a similar reform movement that seeks to enhance the Maldives’ moral framework and strengthen national independence.

According to Minister Naseer, President Muizzu is working to reform the country’s morals, revitalize the workforce, and restore youth skills. The President’s initiatives aim to instill a renewed sense of pride in Maldivian history and heritage, encouraging citizens to integrate these values into their daily lives.

Addressing the National Day event, President Muizzu expressed his commitment to rekindling the nation’s moral compass with collective effort. He emphasized the importance of reviving Islamic customs and morality while restoring the nation's unique identity. President Muizzu called for a resurgence of noble characteristics from the past and a focus on integrating the teachings of the Holy Quran into daily life.

The President urged citizens to actively contribute to preserving the nation’s values and protecting future generations from ideological shifts. His vision includes fostering a culture where spiritual and moral values are deeply embedded in society.
