President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has unveiled plans to develop a comprehensive 20-year National Development Masterplan for the Maldives, following a recommendation from the Cabinet.
In a public video message, the President outlined his vision for the ambitious project, which aims to be completed within a year and will involve broad-based participation from citizens across the nation.
The Masterplan will include input from political parties, civil society groups, experts, and various stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to shaping the country's future. In his announcement, President Muizzu also mentioned that island-level discussions will soon begin, involving civil society representatives, sports figures, political leaders, and other respected individuals.
