On Thursday, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed four new members to the Tax Appeal Tribunal, following Parliament's review and approval.
The new members of the Tribunal are:
1. Hassan Zuhair Mohamed – G. Maavaarulu
2. Ibrahim Shareef – G. Alishaa
3. Uza. Shifza Abdul Gayyoom – Gasdhoshuge, GA. Nilandhoo
4. Uz. Abdul Ghanee Mohamed – H. Host Side
Applications for these positions were opened by the President’s Office on August 29, 2024. The appointed members will now be responsible for handling tax-related disputes, ensuring a transparent and fair tax administration process in the Maldives.
