The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed AA. Thoddoo island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
As per HPA, the island was placed under monitoring after a person who traveled to Male’ from Thoddoo, tested positive to Covid-19. Following the positive case detected from Thoddoo, the island will be under monitoring until contact tracing is completed.
As per the information received to Ras Online, it was a preschool teacher who was reported to positive to Covid-19 from Thoddoo.
Similarly to Thoddoo island, HPA has placed Kolhufushi island under monitoring after a person who traveled to Male’ from Kolhufushi tested positive for COVID-19.
